Terms of Service

The Plain-English Promise

These are the terms for riding with Direct VIP Transportation. We have written them in plain language on purpose, because terms you cannot understand protect nobody. The short version: book honestly, ride respectfully, pay the agreed rate, and we will hold up our end with early arrivals, locked prices, and a clean, safe ride.

By booking a ride, you are agreeing to what is on this page.

Booking and Confirmation

  • A ride is confirmed when you accept the quoted flat rate and receive our confirmation text. Until then, the time slot is open.
  • Quotes are based on the trip details you provide. If the trip changes, with extra stops, a different pickup, or more passengers, the rate may be re-quoted before we ride.
  • For airport pickups, providing your flight number is part of the booking. It is how we make sure we are there when you land.
  • Rides booked for other people are welcome. The person booking is responsible for the accuracy of the details and the payment.

Pricing and Payment

  • Every ride runs on a flat rate agreed before the trip. That rate does not change due to traffic, weather, or flight delays.
  • Hourly bookings, such as wine tours, events, and multi-stop days, are billed at the agreed hourly rate, with a minimum number of hours we set when you book.
  • Payment is due at or before the end of the ride, by the methods we arrange when you book.
  • Tipping is never required and always appreciated.
  • If a toll route is requested or required, tolls are included in your quote, not added afterward.

Cancellations and Changes

Life moves, and we keep this fair:

  • Cancellations are free with at least 24 hours notice.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are charged an $85 cancellation fee, because that slot was held for you.
  • Changes: text us as early as you can. If we can fit a new time or pickup, we will, at no charge.
  • Flight delays never count against you. We track your flight and adjust automatically.
  • No-shows: if you are unreachable for 30 minutes past your pickup time, outside of tracked flight delays, the ride may be released and charged as a late cancellation.

Wait Times

  • For home and hotel pickups, your quoted rate includes a 15-minute grace period.
  • For airport pickups, wait time tied to your tracked flight is free, full stop.
  • Extended waiting beyond the grace period may be billed at our standard hourly rate, and we will always tell you before any charge starts.

In the Vehicle

A few simple rules keep the ride great for you and everyone after you:

  • Seat belts on, every rider, every mile. It is not optional.
  • Children ride in appropriate car seats or boosters. Tell us ages when booking and we will arrange the right setup.
  • No smoking or vaping in the vehicle.
  • Food is fine with a heads-up. Spills or messes that require professional cleaning may carry a cleaning fee.
  • We reserve the right to end a ride, without refund, if a rider is abusive, unsafe, or breaking the law. In years of driving, this has almost never come up. Let us keep that streak.

Safety and Service Standards

Here is our side of the deal:

  • A commercially insured vehicle with one million dollars in coverage
  • A late-model 2025 GMC Yukon Denali, maintained on schedule and cleaned before every ride
  • A sober, rested, professional driver on every trip, with no phone use behind the wheel
  • Early arrivals, honest communication, and a plan B when the road throws surprises

If weather, road closures, or vehicle issues ever make a safe trip impossible, we will tell you as early as we can and help you find another option. Your fare for any ride we cannot complete comes back to you.

Liability

Direct VIP Transportation provides ground transportation. We are responsible for delivering a safe, professional ride, and our commercial insurance covers the vehicle and passengers as required by law. We cannot be liable for missed flights, events, or connections caused by things outside our control, like extreme traffic, weather, or airline changes, though our whole system of early departures and flight tracking exists to keep that from ever mattering.

Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, the updated version appears here with a new date. Booked rides are always governed by the terms in place when you booked.
